It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of our father, Hoboken Eddie.
He has crossed over the veil and is now in the arms of the Lord.
We appreciate your continued support and encourage you to keep placing orders. I ask for your patience and understanding as we grieve and make arrangements; I will resume operations as soon as I return home (January 18th, 2026).
From our family to yours, thank you for your condolences; kindness; and 20 years of supporting our family sauce business.
Support Hoboken Eddie’s Family & Legacy
“Hello, my name is Hannah Rose, and I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times my family has faced. My father, Hoboken Eddie, who was truly a saint in our community, recently passed away. My father led a very colorful life with many colorful characters. He spent the majority of his life as a chef, and never turned away anyone who was hungry. During the pandemic, I helped him feed an entire town by supporting the local food bank. He was always the first to step up for fundraisers or a neighbor in need, and his kindness touched countless lives. My dad loved music—especially the Marshall Tucker Band, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin; and would supplement his words with songs that meant a lot to him. He cherished his communities in Cranford, Key West, Warwick and Madison. He was looking forward to coming home to meet his first grandchild, Oliver, and it breaks my heart that he won’t be here for that moment.
Now, as I am six months pregnant and facing limited mobility, I need to travel from New York to Indiana to take care of my father’s house and restaurant. The funds raised will help cover travel and moving expenses, cremation costs, and essential bills like utilities and mortgage payments until the house can be sold. This is a huge undertaking, and I am doing my best to honor my father’s legacy while preparing for my own growing family.
If you are able to contribute, your support would mean the world to us. If you can’t give financially, a helping hand with lifting or moving would be just as appreciated. Thank you for considering helping my family during this difficult time, and for keeping my father’s spirit of generosity alive.”
